- Competed in by male and female across a range of weight categories
- NI first competed in Boxing in the 1934 London Commonwealth Games where they won two bronze medals in the men’s 67kg (W.Duncan) and 75kg (J. Magill)
- NI have won a total of 61 medals in boxing in the Commonwealth Games
